What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device across different pages or visits, and to recall certain settings or actions.

Cookies are widely used to make websites function well — for example, keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences, and helping site owners understand which content is most useful. They are not programs and cannot carry viruses or access data stored elsewhere on your device.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and through the preference panel further down this page.

03

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on this site are set by third-party services. We do not control these cookies directly; their use is governed by the respective third parties' privacy and cookie policies.

Third-party services that may place cookies include:

  • Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
  • Google Maps — the embedded map on our contact page.
  • Font delivery services — Google Fonts for typography rendering.

You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
