What Clients Say About Working With Us
Across foundation mapping, capability builds, and stewardship work — here is how organisations describe the experience.
Client Reviews
In Their Own Words
Operations Manager · Petaling Jaya
"We came in quite uncertain about what AI could realistically do for our firm. The Foundation Mapping engagement gave us a clear picture of our own processes — something we had not actually had in writing before. The brief became a reference document for subsequent discussions at board level."
Foundation Mapping · April 2025
Director · Kuala Lumpur
"The Co-build engagement was exactly what we needed — one capability, properly done, with our team involved throughout. The document summarisation tool has been in daily use since handover. The fortnightly check-ins kept things on track without adding unnecessary overhead."
Capability Co-build · March 2025
Practice Manager · Shah Alam
"We are a healthcare practice and were cautious about how any AI engagement would handle our patient-adjacent data. Gemilang Forge was clear about their protocols from the first conversation. Nine months into the Stewardship Retainer, it feels like having a thoughtful colleague rather than a vendor."

COO · Subang Jaya
"What I appreciated most was that no one at Gemilang Forge tried to sell us a bigger engagement than we needed. The mapping brief was thorough and the presentation helped our board understand what we were actually dealing with — not what vendors had told us. Good, measured work."
Foundation Mapping · February 2025
Senior Manager · Bangsar
"The Co-build work was practical rather than technical for its own sake. Our team now handles the enquiry classification tool independently — which was the whole point. The handover documentation was detailed enough that we could train a new staff member from it six weeks after the engagement ended."
Capability Co-build · January 2025
Head of Strategy · Damansara
"We tried a larger consultancy before Gemilang Forge. The difference is that here, someone actually listens before speaking. The Stewardship Retainer has become a regular fixture — the monthly calls are more useful than most internal reviews because they come from outside with a prepared eye."

Case Studies
Three Journeys, Three Outcomes
A closer look at how specific engagements unfolded for three organisations.
Legal Practice, Kuala Lumpur
A mid-sized legal practice had accumulated several AI-related proposals from vendors and was unable to evaluate them against their actual workflows. Partners disagreed on priorities and no written process map existed.
Our Approach
Foundation Mapping engagement over three weeks. Conversations held with senior partners, paralegals, and the practice administrator. A written brief produced with annotated process diagrams covering intake, matter management, and billing.
Outcome
The brief resolved the internal disagreement — it provided a shared reference that partners could point to. Two AI suggestions from the brief were adopted six months later. The mapping brief was cited directly in a board paper on technology investment.
Specialist Clinic Group, Selangor
A group of specialist clinics was receiving a high volume of patient enquiries across WhatsApp, phone, and email. Staff were spending significant time on manual classification and routing, creating delays in response times.
Our Approach
Capability Co-build engagement over two months. Enquiry classification selected as the target capability. Built within the clinic group's existing communication tools with careful attention to data handling requirements under Malaysian healthcare guidelines.
Outcome
Classification accuracy reached 87% within three weeks of deployment. Staff time on manual sorting reduced by approximately 40%. The capability has operated without significant issues for five months and is maintained by in-house staff using the handover documentation.
Accounting Firm, Petaling Jaya
A growing accounting firm had adopted three AI tools independently over two years. Performance varied, vendor communications were inconsistent, and no one internally had the time or vantage point to monitor the full picture.
Our Approach
Stewardship Retainer engaged for six months. Monthly calls structured around a shared observation log. Vendor performance issues identified in month two; one tool renegotiated to a better-fit contract tier by month four.
Outcome
Annual tool costs reduced by RM 14,000 through contract renegotiation. The observation log produced at the end of the retainer served as the basis for the firm's first internal AI policy document. The retainer was renewed for a further six months.
